Mykonos Retreat

Paola’s BodyBarre has teamed up with Natasha Kerry for a retreat in Mykonos, Greece at the start of the summer. Mykonos is the great glamour island of Greece and happily flaunts its sizzling St-Tropez-meets-Ibiza style and magical greek reputation. We will be staying at a beautiful villa overlooking the island’s bay. 

We will be staying one of Mykonos’ most beautiful villas to host us during this retreat. Helios Retreats is a 7- room villa with views overlooking the Agean sea.
The villa is complete with a rooftop space for classes, a swimming pool, chef and plenty of living space for you to soak up the sun! 

Throughout the week you will have the option to join up to 3 barre, pilates and yoga sessions a day. PBB’s very own Paola Di Lanzo and Yoga super- star Natasha Kerry will be teaching these sessions, making sure classes are upbeat, challenging and catered to your needs.
You will have time to discover Mykonos’ beautiful town, beaches (and bars!) during your time on the island. Other daily activities such as hikes and outdoor trips will also be taking place!

Light in Mykonos Luxury Yoga and Fitness Retreat

Paola has teamed up with Light in Mykonos Retreats and renowned yoga teacher Natasha Kerry for a transformative week over the UK bank holiday of daily intensive yoga and fitness training for all levels. A great start to your summer body and mind!

The retreat is set within a stunning complex of three private villas standing on the South side of Mykonos, with panoramic views of the emerald-green water and the endless blue of the Aegean sea, offering complete privacy and exclusivity for our guests.

Spacious oudoor areas surrounded by a large garden and three infinity swimming pools, while beautiful sandy beaches are only a few minutes drive away.

Paola is the managing director and founder of Paola's BodyBarre. Her career in health and fitness began 25 years ago in Australia. She completed her degree in Physical and Health Education in 1991, and her passion for fitness and nutrition led her to move on to personal training.

Paola went on to study at The Pilates Institute, and has trained at numerous Pilates workshops. She has been drawing on her experience for the past 27 years in health and fitness to create and teach her own Dynamic Pilates routine. 

Paola found that the combination of ballet barre conditioning, mixed with her Dynamic Pilates routine, functional training and traditional fitness routines were a winning formula. The end result is Paola’s BodyBarre (PBB) which has proven to be a big hit in the United Kingdom. Paola’s PBB Method can be found in her studio in Fulham, Grace Belgravia, The South Kensington Club and KX in Chelsea. Expect a high intensity, low impact, full body workout. This will be beautifully complimented by Natasha's Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

Natasha’s Yoga is one of self-enquiry, the transcendence of limiting beliefs and an exploration of the juiciest methods in which to create deep release and reconnect to your happiest and most peaceful self.

Natasha is also the creator of ‘The Yoga Sleep Method’ for deep relaxation which aims to relax the entire body, train the mind, explore the subconscious mind, rebalance the body’s internal systems of equilibrium and aid deep relaxation and sleep.

Natasha’s steady-paced Vinyasa Flow classes aim to cultivate clarification in the mind, wake up the core and the deep stabiliser muscles, create fire and stir a deep awakening.  Natasha breaks down each pose so that it is accessible to all and gives options for every level. Her classes are infused with philosophy and spiritual sharings that are relatable to life. Natasha loves the power of Yoga and its ability to transform her students into their true, happy and peaceful selves.

Luxury Weekend Retreat at Bohème, Somerset

If you are looking for a luxury weekend retreat this summer then look no further! Paola and Emily will be hosting a retreat at the majestic Bohème; a 16th Century former cider press turned country retreat and sanctuary of style. This large luxury home sits just over the Devon border in Somerset and blends original character features with exceptional interior design in the most fashionable modern-rustic manner, all wrapped up in 100 acres of pastoral paradise. 

The rolling country vistas and fresh Somerset air is sure to rest and rejuvenate all those who stay. Other acitivities include swimming in the 15 metre indoor heated pool, wanering through the picturesque olive tree courtyard, chilling out in the cinema room and playing pool. 

Catering for the weekend will be by Mindful Chef, a new British company who believe that what you eat is really important, but can be difficult to get right. Their mission is to make healthy eating easy for you.

Emily came to Power Yoga, like many, as a therapy for a knee injury and was immediately struck by its transformative qualities both on and off the mat. The physical and mental developments appealed to her as well as the magical effect
of the ‘breath’.

 Emily completed her teacher training under one of London’s top Power Yoga instructors, Stewart Gilchrist. With a mindset for adventure, Emily moved to Mozambique where she founded her Yoga Company and furthered her teaching. Having recently returned to London she continues to seek out great teachers, expand her knowledge, deepen her practice and pass this on to others with passion and enthusiasm. Emily’s teaching is uplifting, energetic, dynamic and powerful whilst incorporating elements of fun to her classes. She teaches her practice to help heal, cleanse and detoxify the mind whilst challenging the entire body.

Emily will leave you in a state of stillness, calmness and ultimate relaxation, yet you will also feel awakened, energised and revitalized with beaming smiles across your faces,ready to face the challenges ahead with grace, gratitude and good humour.Emily’s passion lies in both yoga and nutrition. Emily is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC, the world's largest nutrition school.
